Love in the Air!

She walked past him,

The air felt bent,

The wind then shifted,

Whispering her scent.

 


He stood there frozen,

Eyes gently lit,

By a girl unknown,

But her soul was a hit.

 


A final glance,

Then she was gone,

her aura stayed,

And lingered on.

 


He smiled, so touched,

By something divine,

In a hundred thoughts,

She was ninety-nine.

One Destination, Different Path!

Born with the cries, In the  beds so small, First breathe to final sighs, He hustles in it all! Different roads, different ways, Man works hard, night and days, To earn his bread, to claim the place And to win money in a daily race. Some wear suits, some carry sacks, Some mend hearts, some fit tracks. One seeks a desk, with papers piled, other toils in fields, under sun wiled! The destination is clear and so bright, Man chases money, day and night. For family's sake or the relatives fake, Some build castles and some earn steak. One thing he forgets, in the journey unclear, The master is waiting at the end so clear. Light at the end of tunnel, so bright, Where all paths will merge, in one pure light. The theme of the poem is the sole idea by Vinay Moryani. He is a keen seeker of spirituality and walks on the path of the same. I have turn his ideas into words and further mending into a complete poem!

Nostalgic Verses : A Rhyme of Innocence

 In a world of grown-up strife and stress, Let's embrace the child, oh, what a mess! Forget the worries, success and failures, Reignite the spirit of youthful adventures. In those long showers, let's sing with glee, Concerts for one, and the audience is me. Soap bubbles in the bath, floating high, Childish laughter reaches the sky. Beware the drain, it could swallow us whole, Avoiding it was the ultimate goal. Clipping our mouths with hairpins, oh dear, For no reason at all, isn't that clear? The moon, oh, it's made of cheese, they say, Believing it, we dreamt the night away. Staring to make things move with our will, Imagination running wild, never standing still. Poking holes in erasers, what a peculiar call, Why we did it, we can't explain at all. "Mom," we'd say to our teacher in surprise, Childhood antics, oh, what a prize!
